Molding

Sivyer’s molding capacity supports castings that range from 50 pounds to 20,000 pounds. Our facility offers flasked and flaskless airset molding lines with a variety of continuous mixers. With some mixers that produce up to 2,000 pounds per minute, we’re able to meet most volume requirements.

Our floor/loop molding process uses three air set operations featuring Palmer mixers that utilize silica and chromite sand. The process is supported by a vibratory sand reclamation system,  giving Sivyer the capability to mold complex pieces, supporting a 20” cope over a 20” drag.
