Finishing

Steel casting manufacturing  involves multiple finishing processes to accomplish conformance to final configuration and surface finish. Sivyer has many different options that can be used to modify different sized steel castings. For large thin wall steel castings, shape modification is a necessary process to keep the castings within form and tolerance. In addition to shape modification, surface finishing is also an important step.

Finishing includes breaking and burning of ancillary material, grinding, arc washing, blast cleaning and welding. Our services also include gauging and assembly. 

All our welders are certified to American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section 9 and are supervised by our in-house welding engineering staff.
